Hereinafter referred to as ‘the controller’ or ‘Nera Living’.
Nera Living is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of users' personal data, complying with the obligations set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR), as well as with the local regulations in force.
Within the scope of our activities, including but not limited to, we collect and process the following types of personal data:
Identification Data: Name and surname.
Contact Data: Postal address, email address, telephone number, and other contact details.
Other information related to your booking request: Should you make a reservation for long-term accommodation, we will ask you for additional information to enable us to assess your ability to meet the cost of the accommodation you intend to book. For this purpose, we may ask you to provide certain financial documents, such as payslips, VAT statements, a guarantee or a bond from a third party, as the case may be.

After receiving your request, we will contact you, among other things, to answer any questions or queries you may have in relation to our services, and to provide you with additional information if you have requested it.
The legal ground for this processing is legitimate interest (Art. 6.1 f) of the GDPR) in order to respond to a request made by you. Therefore, under no circumstances may your interests be considered to be affected.
Long-stay accommodation booking request form
Process your request to book accommodation.
The legal basis that legitimises this processing is the request for pre-contractual measures in accordance with Article 6.1 b) of the GDPR, this being understood as the statement and interest expressed when requesting the reservation of accommodation. Your data must be processed in order to process your booking request correctly.
As soon as we receive this documentation, the data controller will proceed to assess your request to ensure that you will be able to meet the payments for the contracted accommodation. If it is determined that you do not meet the conditions established, your request to book accommodation may be denied, or you may be asked to provide some kind of guarantee or bond, in which case, depending on the specific circumstances, Nera Living may process the information provided for the sole purpose of guaranteeing payment for the accommodation contracted. The data subject may not object to such processing in view of the existence of the data controller's compelling legitimate grounds.
Organising visits to the accommodation
Should you express your interest in visiting a property, the data provided will be processed for the purpose of arranging the visit to the selected accommodation.
The legal basis that legitimises the processing of the data is the application of pre-contractual measures following your request, in accordance with Article 6.1 b) of GDPR, as it is understood that you have an interest in contracting the accommodation services of one of the assets of the data controllers. Your data must be processed in order for the visit to be carried out correctly.
Sending commercial information
If you expressly consent, your data may be processed for the purpose of sending commercial communications, including by electronic means, about the asset with which you have contracted accommodation, as well as about our products, services and/or promotions.
The legal basis that legitimises the processing of your personal data is your express consent (Art. 6.1 a) of GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the legitimate basis for processing the data based on your consent prior to withdrawing consent.
Disclosure of data to Group companies
If you consent, your data may be disclosed to Greystar Group companies so that they can send you commercial information, including by electronic means, about products or services similar to those contracted with the data controller. These companies offer various types of accommodation services. You can find the Greystar Group entities at the following URL: https://www.greystar.com.
The legal basis that legitimises the processing of your personal data is your express consent (Art. 6.1 a) of GDPR). Should you wish to revoke your consent for this purpose, you may do so at any time by sending your request to privacy@greystar.com.
Sending surveys
To learn your opinion regarding the products contracted and/or services provided by Nera Living, with a view to improving the processes and services provided.
The legal ground for processing your data is the legitimate interest of Nera Living (Art. 6.1 f) of GDPR) to assess your level of satisfaction regarding the products contracted and/or services provided, with a view to improving Nera Living's processes and services. After conducting the corresponding analysis, Nera Living has considered that your interests as the data subject are not affected in any way, since the surveys will allow you to report on your experience with Nera Living, which may benefit the service you receive in the future.
All of these purposes will be achieved in accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data, ensuring at all times the confidentiality and security of the information provided by users.
We hereby inform you that Nera Living will not disclose your personal data to third parties, except in compliance with legal obligations.
However, the data may be disclosed to Greystar Group companies so that they can send you commercial information, including by electronic means, about products or services similar to those contracted with your data controller, provided that you have consented to this.
As these companies offer services and may be established outside the European Economic Area, this disclosure may also involve an international transfer of data. In relation to such international data transfers, we inform you that they are subject to the conditions or guarantees provided for in the European General Data Protection Regulation. On the other hand, to be able to provide you with our services, we hereby inform you that we require the support of service providers. These third parties may have access to your data and will act on our behalf and on our account, following our instructions, and in no case will they have access to your data for their own purposes.
Nera Living will keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected.
Should you ultimately contract any of the services offered through this Website, your personal information will be processed for as long as it is necessary to provide you with the service, and as soon as the contractual relationship that gave rise to the processing ends, your data will be duly blocked for a period of 5 years. Following the expiry of this period, after which no further legal liability can be derived from the service provided, your data will be permanently deleted.
Personal data provided for the purpose of sending commercial communications will be retained until you revoke your consent.
In general, your data will be processed within the European Economic Area. However, some of our suppliers may process your data outside the EEA/EU, in which case Nera Living will formalise the corresponding Standard Contractual Clauses adapted by the European Commission, the content of which you can consult here, all in accordance with the applicable regulations to guarantee and maintain the adequate level of protection in line with European standards.
As the data subject and owner of the data, you have the right to obtain information about the data, in particular, you can exercise the following privacy rights:
Right of Access
You may request access to your personal data and obtain a copy of it, as well as information on the purposes for which it is being processed, the categories of personal data processed, the recipients to whom the data have been or will be disclosed, the intended retention period, etc.
Right of Rectification
You have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and the completion of incomplete personal data.
Right to Erasure
You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, in which case we will only retain them to file or defend claims.
